Executive Summary

Robert Taylor, CEO

Rob has worked in web development and network engineering for over 4 years now, and is also pursueing his degree in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University. Previous to his work with RaceKITS™, Rob Started GoOffCampus.com, a national student housing resource website. He has also recently launched FamiJam.com, a family social networking site.

Eric Larsen, CTO

Eric spends his time designing and programming the most tech savvy applications in the industry. He also is finishing up his triple major of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering.


Development Team

Business/Customer Relations

Angela Turner

Angela is an Electrical Engineering major with a minor in Psychology. She is a non-traditional student and lives/works on a farm in Smithfield, NC. Her responsibilities with this team are constructing power point slides, developing a marketing plan, and patent research. She decided to become involved in EEP because it sounded like an interesting and more hands-on sort of course.

Bobby Fitzjohn

Bobby is majoring in Electrical Engineering.  He joined EEP because he wanted experience working with a team on an engineering project. Bobby’s responsibilities for the Race KITS team are sales and financial projections.

Scott Fisher

Scott is majoring in Aerospace Engineering, with a possible minor in Business, English, or Mechanical Engineering. He aims to get a Master’s degree and find work after college. He is working on the business aspects of Race KITS, primarily the product roll out plan, manufacture plan, and distribution plan. Scott is involved in EEP to broaden his future horizons, and to be prepared to make the best out of opportunity.

Hardware Engineering/Development

John Krier

John is a sophomore in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He enjoys working on the interface between hardware and software. He is responsible for working on reverse engineering the AMB RFID system and will be working on some of the driver coding. John likes being a part of EEP so that he can see what real work environment will be like as well as learning some aspects to starting his own business

Bill Knight

Bill is majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Design Studies. He is interested in pursuing graduate level studies starting with an accelerated Master’s degree. His responsibilities include website management and content creation as well as conversion of the functional and design specifications into the user guide. Bill joined EEP to learn more about business startup strategies and leadership techniques

Andrew King

Andrew is a sophomore in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is interested in robotics and mechatronics and plans to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering or mechatronics after graduation. Andrew joined EEP to get good experience working on a project with a team. His responsibilities in the Race KITS team include testing the RFID transponders and the other hardware systems in use

William Kemp

William is a junior in Electrical Engineering and is thinking about a double major in Computer engineering as well as a minor in Business or Civil Engineering. His responsibilities have been to contact companies about different products to be used and to analyze the competition. William joined EEP for the opportunity to work with other engineering majors as a group
